Welcome to buildercalc.org. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our trade calculators, engineering estimators, technical guides, and material sizing tools.

1. Agreement & Operating Entity

These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and Tech Labs FZ LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), a free-zone company registered in the United Arab Emirates operating buildercalc.org. By accessing, browsing, or using any calculator, tool, or guide on buildercalc.org, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

2. Governing Law & Exclusive Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use, their subject matter, and their formation are governed by and construed strictly in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any legal action, dispute, or proceeding arising out of or relating to buildercalc.org, its calculations, or these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates.

3. Use of Calculators, Estimates & Embed Widgets

We grant users a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use buildercalc.org subject to the following conditions:

  • Planning License: Our calculators and reference tables are provided free of charge for commercial construction estimating, DIY project planning, architectural drafting support, and educational trade use.
  • Widget Embedding: Third-party website owners may embed buildercalc interactive widgets using our provided iframe snippet, provided the backlink attribution to buildercalc.org remains visible and unmodified.
  • Prohibited Misuse: You may not harvest, scrape, reverse-engineer, or mirror the client-side JavaScript calculation engines, programmatic datasets, or custom SVG graphics for commercial re-sale or deployment inside competing standalone software applications without express written permission.
  • Preliminary Output Nature: All output figures, material schedules, and weight totals generated by our tools are estimates intended for preliminary drafting only.

4. Service Availability & Disclaimer of Warranties

buildercalc.org and all associated calculations, algorithms, text descriptions, and web tools are provided strictly on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Tech Labs FZ LLC disclaims all warranties, express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, mathematical accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that site operations will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from server outages.

5. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall Tech Labs FZ LLC, its directors, officers, employees, partners, or developers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages — including financial losses, material cost overruns, construction defects, structural failures, labor delays, or personal injury — arising out of or in connection with your reliance on any calculation, figure, table, or guideline published on buildercalc.org.
