**Solar Tilt** is the angle at which a solar panel array is tilted relative to the horizontal plane, optimized according to geographic latitude to maximize annual photovoltaic solar energy absorption.
Optimal Photovoltaic Angle
Optimal solar tilt angles equal the location's latitude for annual balances. For seasonal adjustments, tilt is adjusted steeper (+15 degrees) in winter and flatter (-15 degrees) in summer.
